Our first Quarterly Omnibus ran in July with a focus on wellness…and a deep dive on CBD product usage. There’s not a ton of research on this space yet, but I know it will continue to explode in the coming months. Here’s what we uncovered.
What’s the market size for CBD products? Big, and growing.
- 1 in 3 say they’ve tried CBD products of some sort, with 18-29 year olds reporting most regular usage.
What formulations are most popular? Not surprisingly, vapes and edibles.
- While inhalation is preferred among half of users, women are twice as likely to have tried topical CBD beauty products (lotions, balms, creams) vs. men
Why CBD? To feel better mind, body & soul.
- #1 reason for using is to relieve feelings of anxiety/depression, followed by combatting chronic pain.
And, is it helping? According to most users, yes!
- 80% report noticing improved well-being after incorporating CBD into their lifestyle.
