Customer Insights: Product-Market Fit, 2019

In advance of luxury fashion media’s US relaunch, Method + Mode was asked to support stakeholders in sizing the market, creating data-based audience personas and establishing KPIs for measuring launch success. Working with the Editorial team, we leveraged first-party, third-party and primary research data to build a business case around 1) the white space in the US market and 2) a profile of the target reader.

OUR ROLE: Conducted first-party data and analytics audit; Reviewed syndicated data to craft a proxy target reader; Designed and executed online survey research with target readers; Developed brand health scorecard; Calculated size of market including TAM/SAM/SOM

KEY OUTCOMES: Insights were incorporated into the Editorial proposal and strategic roadmap to secure private funding; Print edition formally re-launched in 2020
